Our Cornerstone & Location

"Heritage Manor" reflects our identity in several ways,  “Heritage”, meaning one’s legacy, one’s lineage. Our Australian Labradoodles bloodlines originate from some of the very earliest and finest Australian Labradoodles, Tegan Park and Rutland Manor in Australia.

Our "Manor" is surrounded by Heritage Birch trees,  trees with gorgeous conformation,  stunning foliage, always luring one to take a closer look. Our Labradoodles, with their blocky conformations, exquisite fleece coats, silly antics and amazing temperaments stop all on their pathways.

Naming our Breeding Program was very much like laying the cornerstone of a building; once it's in place, the entire foundation, the entire structure, aligns our Breeding Program to that fundamental cornerstone, “Heritage Manor”.

Heritage Manor Labradoodles is nestled on acres in the Village of Walton Hills, Ohio, located in Southeastern Cuyahoga County.  We are  shadowed by the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Cleveland’s Emerald Necklace, (an extensive nature preserves with rivers and creeks bisecting through the region) and,  a stone’s throw from the infamous Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. These are some of our most favorite places for grabbing a leash or two and hiking with one of our four legged companions.

towpath-trailDog walking provides opportunities for enrichment, socialization and training that most  backyards most likely do not have.  Our dogs are  curious and love exploring on our walks and hikes.  These walks  provide mental stimulation that comes from visiting places besides our familiar backyard.  We like to sometimes call them their "sniff walk" allowing our dogs to stop and sniff, sniff and stop which appears to be quite  gratifying to them.

Leash walking our dogs plays a huge role in helping us develop their social skills.  They learn to be comfortable with new sites, sounds, people and other dogs.  Leash walking requires us to be with our dog,  strengthening  our bond that we will carry with us forever.
