HEALTH WARRANTY
Our Commitment to You
At Heritage Manor Labradoodles (HML), we are dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of our puppies and the satisfaction of our families. To uphold this commitment, we provide the following health warranties:
General Health Warranty:
HML guarantees that at the time of pickup, your puppy is in good health and has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming as administered by a licensed veterinarian. You will receive all veterinary records related to your puppy's care while under our supervision.
We offer a three-day general health warranty starting from the day you bring your puppy home, "Gotcha Day". We require your puppy be examined by a licensed veterinarian of choice within 72 hours of pickup. If a chronic or serious health issue is discovered within this period, immediate proof of the medical exam and diagnosis by your vet is required. HML reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choice at our expense. Should two veterinarians document poor health, HML will either replace the puppy from the next available litter (with shipping at the purchaser's expense) or refund the purchase price of the puppy, at our discretion. The puppy must be returned to HML at the purchaser's expense immediately. If you choose to keep the puppy, HML will reimburse veterinary costs related to pre-existing conditions up to the purchase price of the puppy, paid directly to your licensed veterinary clinic/hospital. Please note that this warranty becomes null and void if the puppy is not seen by a licensed vet within 72 hours of pick-up.
Two- Year Warranty:
This warranty begins from the date of birth and covers all serious life-altering genetic diseases, including hip dysplasia. The breeder reserves the right to obtain a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of their choice, at the breeder's expense. The purchaser is required to submit both x-rays and accompanying report from OFA, BVA or PennHip. To be eligible for the warranty, the puppy must exhibit consistent physical symptoms and must not be, or have ever been, overweight during the warranty period. If the puppy is diagnosed with a significant hereditary condition, HML will, at our discretion, either provide a replacement puppy or cover the medical treatment costs directly through your licensed veterinary clinic, up to the purchase price of the puppy.
Conditions and Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover any congenital defects that are not genetically inherited. Furthermore, the warranty becomes null and void if the puppy is subjected to any of the following during the warranty period:
- Failure to maintain general health care including providing puppy with an inadequate diet.
- Administration of the Rabies, Lyme or Lepto vaccines in conjunction with DHPP/DAPP vaccinations, as this can cause adverse reactions. Each vaccine should be administered separately to monitor for potential side effects.
- Neglect, trauma or abuse: This includes, but not limited to failure to provide adequate food, water, shelter, and veterinary care; physical harm or injury; emotional distress caused by improper treatment or lack of socialization; or exposure to unsafe environments.
- Excessive exercise before the puppy reaches 12 months of age can be harmful. At this stage, the growth plates have not yet fully ossified, (harden into solid bone) and your puppy has not reached skeletal maturity. Overexertion during this period can lead to potential health issues.
Please note, this warranty does not cover skin, food or environmental allergies, as these conditions can arise at any time from factors beyond our control. Cosmetic issues such as underbites or base narrow canines, common in this breed, are not covered under this warranty. This warranty is not transferrable. HML is committed to the health of our puppies, but under no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages resulting from negligent environmental factors.
HML's spay/neuter contract will be included as an addendum to this warranty.
